Her undergraduate thesis focused on determining the feasibility and appropriateness of implementing the Canadian Assessment of Physical Literacy(CAPL) testing protocols, which had been validated for typically developing children, on children with disabilities This sparked her interest in research in the field of pediatric health and physical activity. This past summer Emma worked as a Research Assistant in the Health and Wellness lab on various pediatric oncology projects.
